Queen Remix
Hi all,
I haven't posted here in a long, long time... mainly because I just can't seem to finish anything. Lots of ideas, no inclination to finish them. You know the deal....
Anyhow, there was a recent post in the X1 forum about a Queen remix competition, and after listening to the stems I figured I'd give it a shot. If nothing else it would be beneficial to have a defined timeframe, and a short one at that. So here's my submission:
http://www.talenthouse.com/creativeinvites/preview/a8210ed430ba86ac1d19f68da42e49de/352 I'm fairly happy with the arrangement, but unfortunately I ran out of time near the end so I wasn't able to get the mix exactly how I wanted, and in particular the overall volume. I threw Ozone on as a limiter on the master bus, but did absolutely no compression. I wonder if that matters...?
So if you have a chance I'd appreciate any feedback you might have. It's been so long since I've finished a project that I need to find my footing a little when it comes to the finished product.
