Question: Complete Sound Studio Bundle ($99)

I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this product:

Music Creator Complete Sound Studio Bundle
http://www.store.cakewalk...ductid=10-MTSS6.00-30E

Not so much interested in Music Creator, as I've had Sonar for a few months, but I'm highly interested in the 19 instrument packs (1,200+ instruments) to complete my SoundCenter instruments library.

Does anyone know anything about this? Have you downloaded it and what do you think of it?
Also, I'd like to know if the Music Creator component installs with it or if it can be deselected...

Thanks in advance! :)

They had a special on Steam for $75. But it will only work with a Sonar product bought through Steam. So now I have a $75 credit on my Steam account.

I tried to pick it up for the same reason. I thought it was a good price for all those instruments.

Of course, the Cakewalk Store offer will work non-Steam (and either would likely work with either with a bit of 'persuasion' (potential file location copies)).

The 19 packs are the Digital Sound Factory packs for Cakewalk Sound Center.

Also summarized by Pte Jack on Steam:

Sound Center is included with Sonar but is only 32bit (or via BitBridge in 64bit mode).
The packs are .prog, .sfz, .wav ala DimPro and Rapture so should be usable with those too(?).

There are a good array of chords, stabs, samples, etc (instruments) available for moderate transformation from the Sound Center controls (in the first instance).

General opinion is that the Steinway Grands Pack is worth having (nothing on TruePianos though if you have Producer). I have the Steinways and Guitar pack. The Guitars are OK - good for a blast on your Controller (in combination with Overloud TH2 amps).
I also have some Rapture packs and a Jupiter8 SoundFont pack from DSF which I'm happy with.

I am not familiar with the Cakewalk installer for this bundle but might have thought they'd be separate(?)
