Question: Export Audio - (Sonar X1d)

Hello,
I've had a confusing time with the export audio feature of Sonar X1d.
I found that my Sonitus Multiband Compressor in the Master Buss wasn't having any affect, and no matter have far down I dragged down the compression point, my mix-downs were still clipping.
After looking around, I found that there were a few options in the "Export Audio" process that I hadn't taken note of before. That being the Source Category of the Bounce Settings.
 
I had been using "Entire Mix" as my usual option, but it was when I chose "Busses", with only "Master" selected, did my multiband compressor finally have the desired affect.
 
So my friends... what is the difference between "Entire Mix" and "Busses" with Master selected?
What selection do you use when mixing down?

I've always used Entire Mix. You just have to make sure that everything ultimately gets routed through the Master bus, and only the master is routed to the hardware driver. A quick check is to mute the master bus during playback to make sure everything goes silent (be sure to listen to the entire song). So why use the "Busses" or "Tracks" options? A: When you want to create a stems, e.g. export just the drums or just the vocals.
