Question: Multidock with control bar/menu

Is there a way to maximize the multidock but still have the menu/control bar at the top?  Basically fit it in the same space as the Track view.
I can dock at top or bottom and drag the window down/up but Sonar wouldn't save the view and reset to split view when you add a new tab or open the project

Not sure I understand the issue fully, but have you tried creating a screen set that has the view just like you want?

I did the screen set save but will try again as I might have tried 'too many' other things.
When using Multidock I have 3 options (float, dock at top, dock at bottom).  If I choose dock at top or bottom, the Multidock will be tiled (split horizontally) with the Track View as it should.
What I want to do is for the Multidock to occupy the full window (not half a window), like the full Trackview, and the Main control menu (transport, markers, time, etc...) are accessible.  If I maximize the Multidock, it will cover the whole screen and thus render the Main control menu inaccessible.  Basically I want to use the shortcut "D" key to 'swap' Trackview for Multidock. (hope it makes sense)
The way I work around this is after docking at top or bottom, I resize the Multidock window to take up the full window but not cover the Main control area.  However if I later add say PRV to the Multidock, the Multidock again is tiled.
Also at one point, when moving a window (plugin or VST instrument) around the screen, a light blue display area pops up which indicates auto dock this plugin in the Multidock, I no long see this behavior.  Just wondering is there a setting somewhere for I must have inadvertently turn it on/off somehow. thx

What your looking to do is doable. I have my console view and track view set up to switch when I press D and the Control bar is always visible. Maybe just maximise the multidock to just under the control bar.
