Question about Step Sequencer and File Handling

It seems if I am working with the step sequencer and create a clip and save it some where (other than the default location) that it does not remember where to save to on subsequent saves...if I try to save a different clip it opens up in the default location. 
If however I load a clip (that is in other than the default location) then it remembers where to got them last.
 
Is there a way to make it remember (per project or per session) where it got them from and where to save them.

Yes. Set in Preferences-->File--->Folder locations-->Step Sequences
