Question for Early Installers - Avoiding Duplicate Copies of Plug-ins

I've got X1 Pro expanded, not to mention full Rapture.  When I install X2, will it detect all the X1 VST stuff and not duplicate it in another directory?  If not, has anyone tried directing the installer to at least use the same locations and the old stuff?
