this is how you apply input echo - I'm not sure MC2 is exactly the same, but hopefully you can figure it out from that.

    1. that is a midi track you are showing him there Beag!

    2. to hear your self, in MC 2 you need to turn on input monitoring, however that will create another issue it will combine all the tracks as you record more.

    3. What i truly suggest is to get a small mixer like a behringer 802 and monitor from there.

I'd Seize the day but i can't quite reach it!

I didn't realize it mattered which type of track I showed him - doesn't the INPUT MONITORING work the same for audio and midi?

    Robomusic,

I know I've been asking you and Beagle about trying to get vocal tracks down correctly. My question here is if you're monitoring through the mixer does the input monitoring have to be selected or not? Or does it matter if it's selected or not. Does "What U Hear" still have to be off even if your monitoring through the mixer?

Thank you. Trying to get good sounding vocals down has been a real hurdle for me.

If you have a mixer you should monitor from the mixer and turn off "what u hear" and input monitoring. that way you get the best mix with the least latency for your monitoring.
