Question: upgrading from X1 to X2

This may be a silly question but I'm finally getting ready to move from X1 to X2....at the same time as beginning to upgrade components in my DAW.   I'm changing all of the internal drives on my computer along with the OS (moving to Win 7 64 bit) and am really looking for a fresh install on clean drives.   My projects are saved externally so I won't lose anything by switching to new drives.

The question is.....once I get the new drives up and running and Win 7 installed, do I have to install X1 and then install the X2 upgrade on top.....or can I just install the X2 upgrade I will download and be off and running?

My apologies if this is a dumb question.

Thanks.
Roger

    You can just install X2.

Two internal 2TB SSDs laptop stuffed with Larry's deals and awesome tools. Studio One is the cat's meow as a DAW now that I've migrated off of Sonar. Using BandLab Cakewalk just to grab old files when migrating songs.

Thank you!   This will certainly save a bit of time for me on this busy weekend.
