Questions about Sonar X1 Producer

Hi, World!

I have a few questions about the new X1 Producer. Bear with me if some of these are "stupid," but I've been a long time Sonar user (and even Cakewalk Pro Audio before then,) and these are some feature's I've been waiting for for about 1.8 decades. :)

1: Does X1 Producer allow for nested folders?
2: Can you do sample-based editing? (Like, if I do a take, and there's a pop in it, can I go in and just draw in a viable value to erase the pop (or click?))
3: How good is X1 for mastering?
4: Can you change samplerates and bitrates in the project w/o having to start over? (Like, if I produce at 44.1, but have an output format of 48k, will I need to resample and tweak the pitch, etc...)
5: How well does X1 work with older 8, 16 or 32 bit instruments on a 64 bit OS? (win7) (Does it even make a difference? Is it stable? Fill me in.) :)

Thanks for the info!

    1. don't believe so
    2. no sample based editing.  you need sound forge or wavelab for this.
    3. it has some tools but it definitely lacks a good limiter.  I use the tools in ozone for this.
    4. that is crapshoot some work ok some don't work at all for me.  I really have tried to trim down to all 64 bit plugs. I am running synth squad and kore player in 32 bit with no major issues though.

Asus P8P67 pro, I7 2600K, 8G Kingston Hyperflex, 2 1T WD Caviar Black(sytem, audio), 2T WD Caviar Black(samples), RME Multiface, Roland A500 Pro, Windows 7 Ultimate 64, Sonar X1C, Ableton Live 8, Reason 6, Komplete 7, DCAM Synth Squad, Omnisphere, Stylus RMX, Trillian
