Questions about Sonar before Purchase

I am considering getting back into Sonar but need some clarification first. My last Sonar product was Home Studio 2007 for reference, so please cut me some slack if some of my questions seem noobish. I have been out of the loop (ha ha) for a while. Thanks.

1/. What is the support for third party vst's as I have thousands of dollars into plugins for Studio One, and would like to use them in Sonar if possible. I have them all in 32/64 bit and VST/VST3/AAX formats.

2/. Is Sonar able to integrate with iLok as many of my plugins are iLok'd.

3/. What output formats are included with Platinum? When I purchased SHS '07 I had to purchase an add-in to be able to export MP3's
I would like to know what I am getting beforehand.

4/. What built in support is there for controllers/interfaces? As an example S1 has presets for different interfaces and controllers. You just select the appropriate device and everything else is setup - routing/inputs etc.

I have tried to find some hard answers for these questions here but didn't have much luck other than the MP3 encoder is now included.

Thanks in advance for those who take a few minutes to bring me up to speed.

Cheers

Jeff

32/64-bit VST/VST3 are supported. AAX is not.

    3. MP3 is not an issue. Since you already purchased the license it would work in any Cakewalk DAW. That said, because there is no more license fee for mp3, SONAR  now includes the format at no charge. For more info, see the help page on export. Also any command line encoder may be added to SONAR using the External Encoder Configuration Utility.

The MP3 encoder is still an add-in, but it's now free. The one that you already purchased should still work anyway.
