well the 808 and 909 are in sonar, and they are used a LOT, esp the kick drum (but obviously messed with) .. you have content in sonar also in DP LE , the loopmasters loops..
some sample cd's are quite cheap that I've bought. One was 7gb of sound and was £30. ($60 or so) , there is various drum machines you could use off KVR.. also I buy Computer Music, that normally has a shed load of samples, genre changes from month to month.
