Quick Queston?

I have two quick questions that perhaps someone might be able to answer for me:

1.  Does anyone know of an effect/feature that will allow a signal to be reversed?  For instance I have a particular sound effect that I want use at the very end of a song, and I would like to reverse it identically (as if it were rewound while being played, but at identical speed) so that I can use it again, but in a different part of the song?  Does anyone know of any such effect or feature?

2. I have a song that was recorded some time ago, but I do not retain the Master tracks for said song; however I do have a master mixed copy on CD. I would like adjust the time of the entire song just by a few beats per minute; nothing major?  I know that AudioSnap can adjust time differentials within a song, but can it take a pre-recorded song (all tracks in a single mix) and slow it down without any tuning problems, etc.?

If any of you have any insight, I would greatly appreciate it.  Thanks!

Just copy the clip and reverse it. No plug needed. Almost any audio editor (Wavelab, Sound Forge) will allow you to lengthen a song by a few seconds while retaining the pitch.

    1. Select the audio clip and choose Process > Audio > Reverse.

    2. Yes, it should be able to do that. Look in the Help file contents under AudioSnap > Changing a Project's Tempo.

Don't waste your time with Audio Snap on changing the length or tempo of an entire song. There are tools in Sonar that will change the length and pitch of a song in Sonar, but I have never had much luck with them. I just tried the "length" tool on a track and while it worked the result wasn't really acceptable.
