Quick Review of Revoice Pro
Ok...brief review...I won this thing...and HOLY MOLY.... It's Melodyne/Auto Tune on Steroids...it does EVERYTHING. You can adjust pitch, timing, vibrato, etc...but the big deal is APT... which stands for "Auto Performance Tuning". Essentially based on a reference track, it can Auto "Everything" in your target track to be in complete harmony and timing with the reference track...for example You have a Lead Vocal and a Harmony Vocal. The harmony is a little off timing and pitch, but the LV is right where it should be. You just tell RVP to create a new track, based on the Lead vocal timing and pitch, using the Harmony track...and it does it! And of course you can manually adjust anything to your liking as well if it's not "satisfactory". This is ONE AMAZING machine here...WOW...

Thanks Larry.....that looks like a very nice tool to have in my tool box (just not at that price). So, there's hope for my (to be) vocals? Glad you were able to win this and now use it!!!

Sounds like it really is pretty nifty. Glad you won something of value. Not something like a one year subscription The Mesh Used Undershreddie Of the Month Club.

Groove 3 just put out an updated video covering 3.2. Larry you came in at the right version because 3.2 added a lot of requested features.

Nice one Larry! I've been using it for a while now and have basically stopped bothering with using takes galore, when tracking vocals. The only track you have to be particular in capturing is the lead line. Once the lead is down, the back up's or twin track can be captured loose as and as long as the tone and emotion is there, just throw it in Revoice and let it save you a pile of time. If anyone is wondering, it also works well on fry vocals, even extreme screamy sounds and doesn't mush it into that synth burp noise, when applying alignment to the track. It is expensive but every time I use it, it makes me smile. I'd be stoked to get it for free! Now if we could just get Cakewalk to work with Synchro Arts to make something along the lines of ARA?... That'd be ****in' sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetttttttt!!!

This was great that Lars won this but if it proves to be as good as what we are hearing in the somewhat early stage, the real winners Revoice Pro. For their interests, they couldn't have picked a better person to give it to. Lars is a straight shooter and if he says it's really good that means something around here. I hope it turns into sales for them.
