Quick group help

Quick group has stopped working.(Producer X3e).
I select 2 audio tracks, hold ctrl & click solo. Only the track I clicked on is solo'd. Have tried in other projects, using midi tracks etc. It no longer works.
 
Am I doing something wrong?

    Strange. It works fine here (Base X3e). Try it again using the Normal project template.

    It works fine in the normal template! I must have disabled it in my project somehow.
    Anyone know how to re-enable quick grouping?

    I am not sure that can be set on/off. I just looked in the reference manual and cannot find a way to "disable" it. Have you tried saving the project, closing and re-opening it?
     
    I am curious if it can be inadvertently disabled myself now, hopefully someone else will chime in here.

    I've saved 3 versions of the same project over the last week. Quick Groups won't function in any of those. It works fine in other projects I've tested. Really strange!
