Quick groups - almost worked

When just selecting a few tracks - quick groups works flawlessly for me. When selection several (like 20), my changes will skip a couple of selected tracks. I tried the same steps with buses and there I also had a couple of buses left out of the party.

What I was doing was updating a X1 template for X2. I selected all the tracks in console view to put console emulation on the tracks. Same for buses. I was able to put console emulation on all the tracks/buses but 2. I individually inserted console emulation on those tracks/buses so all is well. But I wanted to put this up there to see if I'm the only one that has seen this...

All seems to work okay here. I always use "Select None" for select all purposes though, perhaps that makes a difference even though it shouldn't.

Sorry it is a little confusing, Ctrl+Shift+A is deselect all (or select none) which for the purposes of selection such as quick grouping or export etc is the same as select all. Confusing I know but I've just got used to it.

So if I need to select all for any reason I actually deselect all. The main reason I do that is a select all can appear to select everything but I've sometimes found only part of the time line selected for example which is quite hard to notice with selection.

Select none solved that for me and that's how I do it all the time now. Try it. Ctrl+Shift+A and then quick group, you'll see what I mean.

I see what you mean now - nothing selected is really everything selected. Cool way to look at the selection part. Thanks for sharing that - I like it!!

I'm still wondering about why 2 audio tracks within my quick groups did not make the changes I applied to all of the audio tracks. All of them very much selected.
