Quickfix required for clean install?

I'm installing X2 on my laptop

Does anyone know if the X2a patch includes the Quickfix or not?

    I installed X2 on my laptop yesterday and patched to X2a without the quckfix.

    It didn't complain during the installation and it says (X2a build 351) in the about-window now, so I think it's safe to skip the quickfix

    Someone from Cakewalk answered that for me on Facebook yesterday, you don't need quick fix for X2a update.

    I read thru the install instruction for X2a and didnt see it addressed either

    Yes Mike, I read through the instructions but there was no mention of it, so I asked the good folk on here!
