RAM question

My son has gifted me yet another computer. He builds his own, So It's a custom case and everything.

I'm using for my internet /office computer and we'll eventually buy a big ass monitor to watch movies on it.
I installed this Card Deluxe PCI audio card so it will have ASIO drivers. It's W7 Premium 64 Bit ASUS AMD ?? 3.4 Ghz 3x?

I opened it up to install the  PCI card.
It has 4 sticks of RAM  2x 1 Gig and 2 x 512 MB which are PC2 4200 444

The question is I have a couple of 1 Gig sticks of PC2 3200 333 RAM,  Should I use them?
I will only gain 1/2 a Gig and I guess those numbers mean lower performance.

You would be sacrificing performance for the sake of those (probably rare) occasions where you need more than 3GB RAM.  I would say no.

Thanks, That's what I thought, This is not a DAW so RAM is not important.

You have to use the memory usually that is needed in the computer for bus speed and the computer its self.
