Well done! It's more fun sharing the music with others than just by yourself. Got to love that!

Nice piece! The instruments complement each other. I'm hoping to have REAL instruments play with my track as well.

Sure thing. I'm working on two pieces - three actually. Two are Christmas pieces - well, you could say all three of them are. I take it back! I'm working on four pieces! There's my initial one and the one I'm helping on the MCS forum. (Have you ventured there yet?) But the most recent two of mine came back-to-back almost. O Christmas Tree and Christmas Time Is Here. Let's hope I don't rupture something working on all these!

Kev, great jam and a nice sound. Have you thought about maybe panning the guitar out just a bit and maybe bring its volume up just a hair more. I think the balance would be much better, but it also sounds good as is for an audition demo. Just a thought. Great playing from both, like the piece. Blessings, John

Rus W Kev, what are you auditioning for and best and luck. Thanks ! Its an audition to play on the French metro !! Me and my pal tried before ( without a permit) and within 10 minutes we were surrounded by 4 policeman and told to move on - these people don't mess around lol.So I'm trying it the legit way ! There will be a panel of judges, and we'll be playing two songs - the one I posted and another, possibly a tango piece.I'll keep you posted :) K

Very nice! Beautiful playing. The mix is soft so you may want to add a limiter to your master bus and tweek up the volume a bit. Best of luck on your gig. Rimshot

the flautist is excellent Kev, as is your guitar playing. I agree this needs a little mix work, you can prob use plugins to get that guitar a little bigger (a little chorus, or use some parallel comp/eq?) and certainly a limiter just to raise the overall volume, but boy what a great track, and yes it is much better with two live instruments!

Rimshot you are absolutely right it is quiet !! I noticed this morning after I was listening to some other tracks. Someone on the forum has offered to beef up a bit which is great :) Glad you liked the song, I will be trying another flute and guitar piece soon,as I love the feel of the two instruments !! THanks for listening, Kev

Spending a fair bit of time practising the classical guitar again.Getting those old p-i-m-a 's in order :) Yeah its good, coming along nicely thanks ! The flute player is cool ! Open minded which makes her easier to approach ideas with and I'm getting to hear how a real flute operates !!! They are VERY agile. At a piece of music she wants to do at 130 Bpm there is a short run of 9 notes lasting approx one beat :) Incredible !!!! I would have a cardiac arrest if I tried to do this on my guitar I'm sure :( You're right about the mix,it is quiet, and needs bringing up..I'm passing it on to an engineer on the forum whos kindly offered to help me out with it so I'll keep you posted ! How is your stuff coming along ? I will drop by the site tommorow and maybe have a listen :) Cheers Kev

I though I would post to let you all know how it went ! The audtion was not bad !,but bit nervous :( There were these two german camera men I got talking to before the audition started.I said you know were you filming anyone famous but nah just people for the metro they said ! Anyway they asked us if we wanted to be part of their documantary and did a short interview with us and asked us if we wanted to be filmed playing on the metro :) But when we started playing there one of the german geezers was pretty close to my face !! It freaked me out a bit lol On the edge of stardom man ! I made maybe 2 blunders :( Make that 3 if u include talking to the camera man lol Anyway they let me know in 10 days. Thanks all, Kev
