RECORDING AUDIO OFF MY PC?

Ok sorry if my post title wasnt very clear, lol, i didnt know how to explain it. I have a radio podcast on itunes, but wut we want to be able to do is record us doing the episode and wuts playing on my pc, that way if i have an audio clip on my pc i can click play and it ill be recorded by my studio. anyone know of how to do this? i did it once on accident but i cant remember how.

im using guitar tracks pro 3 and a lexicon omega as my interface. if wut i asked isnt very clear please say so, i had a hard time trying to explain what i want to do, lol thanx for reading and for your help!

    Whenever I need to do this I switch to WDM driver mode rather than ASIO.

    If you go into the Windows generic sound recorder, edit>audio properties>sound recording>volume it will put up a window where you can select the sound stream. You can select the option you want. As I recall, the CD option will push your computer sound through GT3 after you exit this screen. Even though it says CD it should pick up whatever is played.
