REDWOOD SHOES

My last instrumental for awhile , start moving into our new apartment on Friday .
Anyway this is something I have been messing with for three weeks , sort of jazzy you might say with the horns .

    Hey, James,

Cool song!  I like how it starts out with a strong vibe of "urgency" and then changes up into a mellower, smooth electronica style.  This could work well as the backing track to an action sequence for a movie.

Sounds really good, and good luck with your upcoming move to your new apartment!

Thanks Bob , this new apartment is going to be nice because everything is new in it from floor to ceiling . My favorite is this big walkin closet I have in my bedroom , I plan on turning it into my mini music room .
I'm going to somehow soundproof the walls in this closet so I can do some singing , its going to be nice much nicer then where I live now .

Thanks for the listen , I shutdown my computer on thursday night and won't be back up and running untill Sunday sometime .

    Cheers ! Radio

Thanks Scotty , steaks sound great in the Nu Wave oven .
The guitar synth was a Les Paul , I thought it sounded good myself in this tune .
Not the real one but it worked for me , enjoy your steaks in your Nu Wave Oven .

Hey James, again a great tune. totally different from the last, other than a slightly minor key vibe. love the percussion in this. at times sounded a little over-compressed and some of those drums didn't hit as they could have. but a nice melodic turn, and shows how talented and versatile you are.

Thanks for the listen and comments on this tune , Friday we sign the new lease and start moving in . I can't wait to move out of this noisy apartment complex , we have lived here six years and I have had enough with the new owners who took over three years ago.
Once I get moved in over the week-end I can start working on something new .

    Thanks ! Radio

Thanks for the thumbs up  , for awhile I had a dry spell last year where some of my tunes didn't sound all the great but all that's going to change this year .
I have taken on a new approach when creating my music or songs , paying attention to details makes all the difference when creating good music I found out .
I would rather spend a month working on my songs now so I end up with music that ends up mixed right and sounds interesting to listen to .

    Thanks for the listen .

Hi James. You've developed a sound all your own. I can't really put my finger on what it is right now that makes it yours... but it's there. This song is great. It's liquid smooth with some nice sounds introduced here and there. Low end sounds/feels good. I like the ending a lot. Good luck with your new place! Noisy apartment complexes are so distracting when your trying to bang out a new drum track. Seriously though I hope it goes well.

Man, I guess I'm the only one who get's it! You have this freaking creative cool vibe that the BEE GEE'S Would go crazy to sing along with on your sounds!

I mean that in all honesty. I get it,

You get a bit off base there with this one, but I guess that's understandable given others opinions.

Your right on until toward the end, with the exception, you just need somebody to sing.

This is kinda a bee-gees type of tune "NOTHING LIKE IT BUT THAT IS HOW I HEAR IT".

Keep moving forward man. Trust advice and do not back away.

Thanks that was very nice of you to say these things about me and my music , most of what I have learned is from here on this forum plus a few other friends I know who are pro's at creating great electronic music .
Every year is seems to be a different ride for me , its been five years when I first got my first music DAW and all this other music software I have purchased along the way .
I don't think I would had gotten this far without the help and advice from friends on this forum , hopefully things will keep moving forward for me in the next five years learning even more then what I know now.

Thanks again for your comments ,cheers! Radio

Thanks Freddy  , I have been trying for months maybe a year now to capture a good guitar sound using my Keyboard .
The Les Paul synth I used in this song seem to work very well for me , I'll have to keep this one in my little book of my favorite synth guitar sounds .

Thanks for the listen . Radio

Hey thanks Bobby , I had a lot of crashing issues working with this song toward the end.
I ended up with 69 tracks and still wasn't completely finished with it , my Project 5 was crashing on me left and right .
I don't think Project five can really handle that many midi tracks at one time it seems like , I finally ended up having to mix what I had and turned that into a wav file where I could finished it in a new song project .
I almost gave up on it toward the end because of Project 5 crashes , I really think once I get back on board with my money I should invest in Sonar 8.5 or the new Sonar I think they have out .
I'm still working on my new computer built , right now I have my new computer case and my new motherboard .
Moving into this new apartment put a dead stop with the ordering of the rest of my computer parts  .
Once it is finished hopefully by summer I can move forward by buying Sonar 8.5 unless I get lucky and win big playing the lottery . LOL

Thanks for the comments Bobby on my song .

Thanks , I like having a good bass track along with a good drum track to start out with when I start creating something .
Those two things start the whole song in motion where you can start creating  something you enjoy listening to . Hopefully at the end of creating your song its something that everyone else finds interesting to listen to  .

Thanks again for your comments .

Thanks , I was just getting ready to start packing my computer up for the next three days .
Tomorrow is the day when I sign the lease at the new apartment and start packing up all my electronic equipment , computers , Flat screen TV's and other important stuff , All that stuff I plan on moving in my car so it doesn't get bounce around in a moving truck.
Saturday I have two friends who offered to help us move , I'm giving them a nice washer & dryer set plus taking them out for lunch .

Anyway thanks for the listen and comments , I'll be down untill Monday .
