REM9652 Setup help

I need setup info for Producer 64bit and an RME 9652. I have been  expierencing about a half sec lag in playback from key punch. This did not exist in the 32 bit version. This is however a new computer.
 
ASUS sabertooth mother board
AMD 3.1 Ghz 8 core processor
16 gigs of RAM
3 SSD drives C: main D:Audio E:Video
Win 7 64 Home
SONAR X2a
PreSonus FaderPort
Waves Silver bundle
no other software on the PC

    have you gone over and checked your driver configuration ?
    set to ASIO ?
