RESOLVED Focusrite monthly plug in freebie D16 Syntorus isn't showing up Anyone?

So I downloaded, installed D16 Syntorus and opened SPLAT, did a VST rescan and can't find it anywhere...It shows as installed in the Cake folder.
You have to open it in Sonar and then activate it....

    I am having the same issue says its installing but the dll isnt showing up anywhere

    Green Acres is the place to be
     I dont twitter, facebook, snapchat, instagram,linkedin,tumble,pinterest,flick, blah blah,lets have an old fashioned conversation!

    I found the Syntorus dll in the Cakewalk VST folder where the D16 installer put it.
    I don't know how to open it inside Sonar, to activate it..... yet.

    I just took the .dll and put it with the rest of the plugins without a map around it. I could then find it in my plugins.

    No matter how many times I uninstalled/installed its not putting either this one or the free frontier.
    But I installed it at work and am going to copy the DLLs over to my DAW.
     
    But on to your issue
     
    did you do another VST scan?
    If so it is showing up in the VST Audio Effects (VST) plug in category?
     
    add it to your vsts
    open a project
    insert syntorus
    open the vst
    it asks for activation find the license file you had to download and open it
    there you go

    That's a little over my head, cowboy dan. I've never done that before.... hmmm. For future reference though...
     
    How do you do that? Move the dll?   copy and drag? which folder? Open C drive? and do it there? I am skittish about things I don't understand. LOL
