In Rapture 1.1, you can MIDI Forget everything by going into MIDI Learn, and find Reset. Or simply switch to one of the other nine configurations, and start over. The 10 internal configs are 'stored', and can each be swapped, reset, copied, or pasted.
Dimension Pro is a little different. The MIDI Learn hasn't been fully upgraded yet. To MIDI Forget everything there, you have to go to the DP MIDI folder, and rename MidiCfg00.bin to something else (like MidiCfg01.bin), or just delete it. It 'regenerates' when you start back in MIDI Learn again. You can 'store' and 'reset' MIDI Learn configs, but only by manual means in DimPro at the moment.
Note that Rapture's MIDI folder is Vista-friendly, and in ... \Documents and Settings ... (XP). It uses MidiConfig00.bin -MidiConfig09.bin files. Dimension Pro's MIDI folder is top level in your installation destination. It uses MidiCfg00.bin on up as its naming convention, but it only
uses the one named MidiCfg00.bin.
You can create 'matching' MIDI Learn setups in the two synths by opening both up at the same time. Example: MIDI Learn for a filter cutoff in DP. It "waits" while you set up MIDI Learn for a filter cutoff in Rapture. Move a mod wheel, and both RP and DP move cutoff under the same control. It's locked in to two separate MIDI learn setups until you decide to break that connection.
