RESOLVED!!! Only one ringtone at a time?

(moving over here from the Sonar forum)

We're having a problem trying to figure out how to upload more than one ringtone to a phone. Seems like the upload is always called the same name which limits it to one per phone (as opposed to one phone). Any thoughts?

Thanks,

I've only tried one ringtone at a time so far. I'm looking into it.

I uploaded 3 files, each one was given a number which incremented each time; I then renamed the files. It may depend on your service and phone - I use AT&T (Cingular) and have a Sony Ericsson T616.

I find that using Cakewalk's Loudness Maximizer on the ringtone segments dramatically improves the loudness of the ringtone. Be careful to not overdo it, though (learned through experience and having to pay $$$ to download a new ringtone).

    Happy ringtoning,

I suspect it may be related to the particular phone, not just the service -but I don't know. My service is Sprint, and the phone is a Samsung A660. I wonder if there is some way to contact tech support for the uploads through Tone This -- seems like they might be more aware/able to help.

The Cakewalk support team ROCKS. They worked with me on this issue, and worked with the ToneThis folks to get it fixed. I believe it only affected Sprint customers, and maybe not even all of those - but CW took it seriously and got it fixed.

I am now able to upload multiple ringtones to my phone.

    KUDOS!!!!
