RIP Earl Clark

Found out today that Earl just passed away.

Earl Clark was a forum member... as well as my client/friend.
We had just talked within the last couple of weeks...

Based out of TX, Earl was a great musician/engineer.
Worked with Billy Gibbons, and numerous others.
Never made a big deal out of it...

Really enjoyed talking with Earl about music, gear, etc.
RIP my friend...

Best Regards,

Jim Roseberry

Oh my! I didn't know that! He lives in a town just 30 min from me and we had discussed my coming by his studio several times, but I never made it. I knew from FB he was having health issues, but didn't realize how bad it was.

    In peace, my friend

I was quite shocked to see this posted on Facebook earlier today.  We had become casual friends having music, recording, and cakewalk in common.  We often commented on each others posts. He especially liked old Volkswagon buses and that, along with music and recording, were common topics of discussion.   He had a thing he'd post every now and then.... "studio quotes" that were often quite hilarious because yeah... we know it was true.

He was having health issues and going to dialysis on a regular basis.  He had posted quite a few pics from his perspective sitting in the recliner as he was getting his treatment.... and seeing those bright orange tennis shoes.....

    He will be missed.
