In his prime, he was the funniest comedian I have ever heard.

RIP and thanks for the laughs.

One of a kind and loved all his work. Especially the Twilight Zone pool player episode with Jack Klugman. Also...I just found out he spent 2+ years as a Marine in the Pacific theater so turns out I have more respect for him that I thought. Carry on....

    Hi,

I didn't have enough English at the time to really appreciate this loon ... but he was fun to watch. Watching him and Robin Williams do the friendly zap dance of words ... since both were outstanding and some of the best improvisational folks ever! Specially for comedy of words!

As a wise Guy once stated from his holy chapala ... none of the hits, none of the time ... prevents you from becoming just another turkey in the middle of all the other turkeys!

    Hi-

I didn't always appreciate all of his shtick, but when he and Robin Williams in his prime ad-libbed together -- that was something to see!

Geez... for a moment there I thought it was about Johnny Winters - [Johnny & Edgar Winters].

    I thought 87?

But now I'm picturing the comedian. Didn't he do some stints dressed like an old cranky woman on the Carol Burnett Show or somewhere?
