RIP Mel Tillis

Not exactly a fan of country music, but this is more of a real RIP.

    I just found out that Mel Tillis wrote the great song "Ruby, Don't Take Your Love To Town", that was popularized by Kenny Rogers and the First Edition:

    When I was in Pendleton, OR in the 80's, Mel used to be the guy that opened the Pendleton Round Up with a concert, usually in Walla Walla (better venue). After I left in 1985, it became that redhead's turn (Reba, daughter of a Pendleton round Up Hall of Fame'r)!

    Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!
