RIP Phil Austin of Firesign Theatre AKA Nick Danger

Phil died of cancer Friday at his home in Washington State.  He was 74.

Phil and his 3 mates provided me with many hours of laughs and much more brain activity starting before I was out of high school.  He will be missed.

Win 10 Pro x64, 32Gb DDR3 ram, Sonar Platinum, Cubase 9.5, Mackie MCU Pro, Cakewalk VS 100, Roland Octa-Capture,  A 800 Pro, Carver M-1.5t amp & C4000 pre amp, various mics, drums and brass instruments.

And away we go!

Nick Danger.  Third eye.  At your cervix!

How can you be in two places at once, when you're not anywhere at all?

    Hi,

I'm wondering how KPFK is taking this these days ... all 4 of them worked over there, for a long time, and I believe that their early albums kinda got their start over there as well ... and in many ways, they were the folks that helped a lot of this stuff make it out there.

Great work ... and as time went by, I have come to appreciate them more and more. Glad I got to see them and say hello here in Portland a few years back!

I was sitting in my office on that drizzly afternoon listening to the monotonous staccato of rain on my desktop and reading my name on the glass of my office door. "Regnad Kcin".

Her name was Magill and she called herself Lil, but everyone knew her as Nancy.
