RME totalmix recording vocals SORTED

Can anyone help.

I am trying to record vocals via RME Babyface into Platinum. I would like to hear myself through the headphones as I record. I cant workout how to....    I have had a look in the Totalmix studio but still drawing a blank  ?

    Within TotalMix...
Click on the headphones output. Raise the fader on the input channel.

I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

I can see the green line jumping around in AN 1/2 (hardware input) and in PHONES1 (in the control room) but I cant hear me in the earphones when then are plugged into the Babyface  BUT,  I can hear me when I plug the headphones into my speakers -  sorry I am absolutely clueless about the mixing software.

Move the fader for the headphones. You should see signal jumping on the headphones output.

When you click on the headphones output, does the fader on the inputs go down?
