R-Mix and other plugins from X1 in X3

Is it possible to install the R-Mix PC module from my X1 into X3?

Thanks

I though R-Mix was a regular VST which only shipped with X2. But to answer your question, any plug-in shipped with a prior version of SONAR can be installed by running the advanced install option for the prior version. The only exception that I know of is V-Vocal which requires installing the SONAR core.

Thanks, I found it. Your right scook, it is a regular VST and it came with X2. I still have X2 installed and the VST is there. Did the trick on a hum in my guitar track.

Oh, and John, your right too.

    Thanks for the help.

I apologize, it seems to me like all my questions are stupid BUT... how?
I have X-1, 2, and 3 on another computer. I have the download versions. If I go to My Products, I will see an option for "advanced install" and I just install R-Mix or whatever else I might want? I have to install S-2 (or whichever) if I want V-Vocal? Once I have V-Vocal can I un-install S-2 and have V-Vocal still work in SPLAT?
Thanks and sorry but I've learned to assume nothing.

You don't have to install the base program. The advanced tab is so you can check off what you want installed. This includes sonar exe.

This is true for all versions of Sonar.

With the exception of VVocal which is linked to the Sonar X11,or 2 executable and is not an option in the advanced install. Whichever version of Sonar you use to install VVocal will also have to remain on your system.
