R-Mix initial sample position issue

So when I put R-Mix into my vocal track FX bin, the sound is positioned in the center and I can manipulate it properly. When I go to my guitar track, the sound is hard left against the wall even though it's centered in the mix. If I lasso the sound on the left and pan it right, it fades to mute as it crosses the border in the center. What is happening to cause this? I'm initializing and using it exactly the same... Is this a bug?

It seems to do this on mono channels. Hitting the stereo button on that track should center in in R-Mix
