Tomorrow too. It should be a good spring for my business. Then again, I might have to work... (crap) I are old and tired, sick this weekend too. I never get sick and I've been sick twice this year. Got a norovirus in Jan. Now I seem to have the clod that my visiting grandkids had last weekend. Cbow has it too... sinus, cough, fever, just feeling low. Now more rain tomorrow. Great. I figure it like this. The rain left long enough to visit Daytona today, then it will come back here tomorrow... but tomorrow is still another day!! J edit> a clod?? I guess that is how I sound but it is a cold. Not a clod.

We had a foot of snow this past Thursday, and we're supposed to get another 10 inches tomorrow. Went in to town and got diesel for my tractor. I'm thinking it doesn't snow this much down here normally because I was 1 of 2 people with a tractor, out of 12 families on our street. It was so deep from drifting that I couldn't get out of my driveway to go help my neighbors. Now I probably got a reputation. I got my little tractor stuck 10 times and had to push myself out with the bucket. That's pretty bad, especially with 4 wheel drive. Move to Missouri they said ... the weather is beautiful, it rarely snows and when it does it's melted in a day or two. Yeah. Ha! It hasn't melted an inch, and another foot is coming. We're going to have 2 feet of snow on the ground by Tuesday. Now it will flood when it does melt. Glad I didn't put that studio in my basement now. I'm curious to see how water tight this place actually is with all this snow when it melts.

Went in to town and got diesel for my tractor. Deisel??? Everyone just buys all the bread and milk down here if snow is forecast. I've never figured that one out unless everyone is hooked on milktoast and not telling anyone about it, or is it milquetoast ? Bless you Bub... I hope you don't need the tractor but at least you have it if you need it. J @Songcraft.. thanks. I do pretty well but this thing seemed to jump on everyone who came near it. Both my grand daughters got it, my daughter, my wife, and I all got it... we are just late to the game. It isn't horrible, just really sore throat, low fever, stuffed up sinus, I get asthmatic bronchitis with stuff like this but I have inhalers, musinex, tussin, and Jagermeister if all else fails. *cough. I think it was you who told me what I had before was probably a noro, right? I looked it up and the symptoms fit to a "T". It was violent... glad it is GONE!! J

I'm curious to see how water tight this place actually is with all this snow when it melts. Got plenty of snow here also, snowbanks along the curbs are 5 to 6 ft high high and that's after the council had already picked up and carted a lot of the snow away. But today and for the coming week the weather will be in the mid 30's which is warm for this area north of Madison, WI. Can't wait for spring to arrive. I get a feeling summer is gonna be a wild, wet and hot one this year. Better batten down the hatches, fortify the gates. IF there was enough funds the best way for a county to prevent flooding is to build a massive underground reservoir catchment, that water can then be used for farming and other needs. But the costs to build just one underground catchment reservoir would run into the multi-billions....
