Rainbow...

A couple of days and I'll be enjoying this concert.
Very cool...I think he's @71 and still getting it on. I know at least 2 here know this is going to be good...huh Bat.

Please no freaking out...just a heads-up for Blackmore fans.

It seems Ritchie has gotten his act together somewhat since the 80's-90's. Hope it's a good show. I saw him with Ronnie James Dio and it was obvious they had reached the point of hating each other. Then I saw him with Joe Lynn Turner as the singer. I worked the load-in/load-out crew for the show. During the drum solo, myself and my future brother in law watched Ritchie shoot up behind his rig. He managed to play ok the rest of the show, but what a let down that was for us. A lot of wasted talent during what should have been peak years for him.

I think I have seen them and I think it was good. I think I did because the late 70's and 80's were a blur - if not complete blackness. Coupled with age...

Or, maybe I'm thinking of the Deep Purple reunion tour in '84. I'm pretty sure I have seen Blackmore at one time or another.

    Enjoy!

I was typing when you were Doc.-  I will enjoy. The fact that he's still jamming is inspiration for me! Besides....I like it when guitarist can't sing...hell, I can't even hum a tune good.

You'll get over it. (the rainbow) sorry, I couldn't help it.
Ritchie is good (better than Clapton, or so I hear) and seems to have a bit of sense. I bet it will be really good!

I would love to see that show!

PS: Saw Clapton - probably the most disappointed I've been at a show.

I think Clapton's essentially retired from touring now, he was diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy a couple of years ago.
