Ran Out Of Memory....on Mix Down!

Ran Out Of Memory....on Mix Down!

I've run into an issue while exporting/mixing a song. After choosing the tracks I'd like to export
I get an "Ran Out Of Memory" error.

Any suggestion?

I'm using XP Pro W/ 3 Gb of Ram........"where'd my sig go???"

Thanks,
Michael

I did this, it works ........LOL until I try to export down again......then the same thing happens.
I have all my unused tracks archived. This has been the only song I've had this problem with!

This may seem obvious... but, have you tried freezing everything in the entire project?

No, I meant freezing all the tracks in the entire project before selecting the tracks that you want to export. Of course, I'm assuming that you've already frozen the tracks that you've selected for export, just as a precaution? But there may be some data in those "unused" tracks that is causing a glitch. It's worth a try?

You may need to do it with that project, unless you freeze the synths like Anubis said. Synths like Sup2.0 use lots of ram.

Man.....I just may have to do a little reading/looking up on "freezing"
Also, I may try unchecking the 64  bit engine ??

    Thanks,

      "FREEZING"  from the help section!!

The Freeze feature allows you to temporarily bounce your track, including soft synths and effects, to reduce the amount of CPU power needed. The Freeze feature also works for synths patched in the Synth Rack.

    Thanks

Try disabling "Fast Bounce" in the options.  That can often be the culprit in strange rendering issues.

Why on earth would anyone delete archived tracks from a project to save RAM???? Arcived tracks don't use RAM, and the fact tyhat they are archived means they are most likely still necessary.

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.
