Rapture 1.1

Hi,

Well I installed the 1.1 update and now I cannot locate these file folders C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Cakewalk\Rapture\Programs

The thing is when i load rapture up and go to LOAD Programs I can see all of those folders under ALL USERS but when I go into the File Explorer it is not there!? I don't get it and I am 100% positive I am not missing anything...why is this hidden?

The Windows operating system purposely hides certain important folder and files so users don't delete them by mistake.

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ is one of those folders.

    To temporarily "unhide" folders:
    1. Launch Windows Explorer
    2. Select "Tools", then "Folder Options"
    3. Select the "View" tab
    4. Under "Hidden files and folders" click on the "Show hidden files and folders" radio button
    5. You should now be able to see the folder in question.
    6. After you are done, don't forget to change it back to "Do not show..."

Yeah, that's really frustrated me as well. Windows Explorer is the key to finding these files. Just type the address in. If you've gone there before, it will fill in the address for you.

You can unhide that folder as described previously, but that isn't needed. We have added the 'Browse Programs' options in Rapture's Program's Menu. Just select it, and it'll open an explorer window directly in that folder.

Very cool. I'm quickly assembling a suite of synths to use with my "Rene Synthesizers", oops I mean "Cakewalk Synthesizers" book. BTW, aside from the hidden files thing, how do you put the little diddly-bob over the last "e" in "Rene"?
