Rapture - Is there a plan for multi-output?

I keep running into this in one way or another...

I hope there's a plan to make Rapture multi-ouput (per element) and/or making the fx (such as ddl) capable of host-synced timing???

It's a long-winded workaround right now... I have to turn off 'all execpt' elents, then print the output of a single element to a new track... Now go back to original track and reverse the elemnt on/off status and add an appropriate ddl to the newly printed single element and work the two tracks combined....

What are the odds? Bith 'fixes' would be sensational! ;-)

I think that the capability is already in there. It just needs to be 'unlocked' in a future update.

By 'ddl', do you mean digital delay lines? They're already synced to tempo, in multiples/divisions of a quarter-note 'beat'.

This will save you some time. You can Copy/Paste entire Elements (or EGs, LFOs, StepGens, Modulator blocks) between two open instances of Rapture.
and add an appropriate ddl to the newly printed single element and work the two tracks combined....
If you Copy Element, then use Paste Element Fx, only the insert effects settings are pasted to the destination Element.
    What are the odds?
I guess that all depends on the template planned for Sonar9.

    Thanks for those tips...

I'll lok into them tho I thought I already did and couldn't find...?

I thought about running two instances, but my cpu is too stressed.... Maybe if I do it only during playback, but it's hard keeping the latency to performance range. I'm only a Core2Duo 2GHz machine... <sigh>...

Copy/Paste Element & Paste Element Fx: right-click on the 'buttons' labeled E1-E6 at the top of the interface.
Copy/Paste Envelope, LFO, etc.: right-click on the 'buttons' labeled Pitch, Cut 1, Res 1, Cut 2, Res 2, Pan, & Amp.

It might help to 'prep' the synth programs in advance, and use 'Save As' (under that little folder icon; the first one in the group of 4) to keep your customized patches. If you save a copy to Rapture LE's Programs folder (from the full version of Rapture), they'll load & play back just fine. Using two instances of Rapture LE instead will save you a handful of CPU cycles.

    LE... What a thought...

I totally forgot about that. I do remember it taking much less cpu than the full version....

I'll see about transferring the patch to LE and see if that does the trick...

    Thanks...

As to "where to find".... I was referring to the settings for the ddl settings. When I go to the element where it's being used, I don't see any controls for timing that relate to the host timing.... I'll look again as I must be overlooking it...
