Rapture Pro "Demo Mode" issue....

So this seems to be an issue that has been around for quite some time, and I just got hit with the bug today.  I've browsed the forum, tried all the suggested "fixes" and none of them work.  Has anyone managed to figure this out?  And Cakewalk, is there a fix coming for this?  This issue has been around for quite a while.
