Rapture Serial Number Not Accepted?

Hi there,

I just recently purchased Rapture from my local (reputable) music retailer and when i went to register the serial number included in the box, i'm getting an error message stating the serial has already been registered. Has any one else experienced this?

    No.  Was it opened?  They might have sold you a demo/NFR copy.  Contact Cake and the retailer.

    There is the rare case that the manufacturing company printed the same serial number twice on two stickers.  Contact Cakewalk Tech Support or Customer Service and they'll get you straightened out.

    Thanks for your help.

    No the box didn't seem to be opened. The security sticker was still intact.

    I have emailed tech support and will hopefully hear from them soon.
