Rapture and Dimension Pro installation

This weekend I’m going to install Pro Suite on my new PC and I have a couple of questions about the best way to set up Rapture and Dimension Pro.

1) Seeing as I have the full versions of Rapture and Dimension should I bother to install the LE versions when installing Sonar 7?

2) When it comes to installing Rapture and Dimension Pro should Install as VST or DXi, or both?

That’s about it. Any help much appreciated.

I loaded the Le twins and it didn't hurt anything. I went for the standard install - it didn't seem worth the hassle just not to put something on the hard drive. But it certianly won't hurt to - I don't think I've ever opened either lite version.

    Hi Mark

if you follow the yellow sheet in the box , you should have no worries and the extra updates you get with it. I normally just let it do the default install, as the DX etc version don't take up that much space. The sample library for DP is the thing that takes the most space.

leaving all 4 on is no problem, you can combine the location of the multi samples for say DP later also , to save a bit of space.

it's handy to have the light versions also, say if you wanted to work with someone and they only used the light versions.

    you have muz3um sound pack?

its a good thing to have that fr4ncesco made
and I've done some drum maps that maybe of use for DP
