Rapture as an effect?

While I know z3ta+ has a comlimentary dll for use in the effects bin, I was wondering if Rapture currently has this ability or not? If so, how do you configure it as such. I would love to apply the EG step gate effect to other things and drop this third party effect I've been using. If not, then please add this to the list of things I'd like to see in a future release: rapture as an effect (dsp only, no elements need be loaded) or ship SONAR with an audio gate similar in nature.

One trick I've done before is to bounce the audio you want to process.  Then drag and drop that audio file onto Rapture.  Press and hold middle C to trigger this audio inside of Rapture now.  You can change the keytrack to 0 if you want to trigger from any MIDI note without it pitch shifting the material.

Chad, I'd considered that, but went with a third party gate for now. It makes it easier to change the midi score without having to re-bounce.
