Rapture pro crashing a whole lot.
I popped open a template and tried to play some music tonight. Total hard crash over and over.
I'm presuming rapture pro is the culprit but I really have no idea.
Should I recreate my templates every time a new version of sonar comes out?
When is rapture going to be updated. I'd be so happy to find it in the November release.
StudioCat > I use Windows 10 and Sonar Platinum. I have a touch screen. I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

I wonder if I should create a ticket and submit my template for inspection...

I would. I use Rapture Pro quite a bit and haven't run into any problems since they released the update to it, back July/August I think.

Thanks Jonesy. It is encouraging to hear. Maybe it's a plugin or something. Do you use th2 with it?

Check windows event viewer. Try running sonar as admin or vice versa. Maybe ye oldie VST reset. If on JP try rolling back a Sonar version. Ta.

If it is a plugin crashing there should be a dump created here when it crashes: %appdata%\Cakewalk\SONAR Platinum\MiniDumps\Plugins You can send the dump to us and we can check which plugin is causing it.

Thanks, Noel! The only item in there is from a different project. I can send it, but it isn't what caused the issue. I'll try to recreate and capture a video of the problem. At first, the app freezes and the Rapture Pro instance continues making sound, but not accepting new notes. Like it's kinda frozen or something. I tend to play using the hold pedal on the GR20, mostly stepping on the pedal and occasionally lifting my foot when I change chords or keys.

Tried for an hour and no failures. Idk. Even using the identical project. Am additional mention, when I pay past the end of the midi clip that drives AD2 it sometimes crashes.

https://youtu.be/LpcgBX92qiE I shouldn't share this b/c it's awful playing, but it's how I use RP. I was trying to record the hang, but it never did hang so... This was the last of several attempts. Try starting around 6:30... skip all the start.
