Raptured

I recently "this week" purchased my first VST instrument, and it was Rapture.
I just wanted to say that is is such an easy and pleasent experiance playing with this synth that I stayed up most of last night playing it and with it.
I have to say "I've been Raptured!"

Thank you all at "Cakewalk" for making this a great experiance for an ole' hardware synth guy, and thanks for giving me endless possibilities!!
I truelly recommend this synth for any "newbies" like myself interested in VST instruments.

    Welcome!

The more time you spend with Rapture and exploring all of the great sounds available, you'll realize how hard it is to become un_Raptured. :)

It's a wonderful synth. Last week as part of a project I hunkered down and went through all of the original presets as well as Expansion Packs 1 and 2. Just a great sounding synth. The Prophet/Moog/Jupiter/Arp softys from other companies are tempting eye candy. But I consider that the "vibe" of these great analogs is totally available with Rapture, no less than with any of these analog recreations in software. Easier, cheaper, and thus more efficient to stick with just one synth I say.

    Yes, Rapture IS wonderful.
Now i use that synth almost in every musical composition as a bright, complex, clear part of sound palette.

Make sure you download the 2 free banks of Rapture programs and samples. They show off some of Rapture's advanced features. See the permanent links above for more information.

Do you know if the Rapture expansion packs work with Rapture LE that came with S7? Craig's Moog tribute looks interesting.
