Raven MTi2 Multi-Touch Control Surface

Good Day all,

Anyone familiar with Raven MTi2 Multi-Touch Control Surface, they dont specifically include Sonar in list of compatible DAW's, also would I get equal functionality directly with Sonar just using any touch screen monitor?

Also is anyone familiar with touch screen overlay systems which are available to give touch capability in much larger screen sizes?

Perhaps with the expanded touch capabilities recently added to Sonar, Craig could give us the low down tip on the various systems available to provide touch control?

Cheers

I knew one studio owner that got one and he liked it ok.  He sold it and got an Icon - he must have missed his SSL.

I never used it, but I can tell you merely jumping to a 24 inch touchscreen from a 21 inch made SONAR etc. a lot more precise.  A 27 inch would be even better.  Still, I use my mouse and keyboard a lot for various tasks.  Touch is just another method, although it is getting to be a better and better option.

Thanks, I was actually just checking out a 32" Viewsonic has available, above that size prices really soar, I guess the with Raven MTi2, they include some kind of DAW control software, which I dont know if its required or beneficial to Sonar but cost is about the same as a ViewSonic 32"". Id plan to maintain my existing 32" (not touch) for secondary display, and touch screen more as the console angled in front of me.

    Cheers

FYI to anyone interested, I received this response from Raven people,
     Raven MTi2 Multi-Touch Control Surface,
    "Hey John,
We currently do not support Sonar. It is in the works but I don't have an estimated time of release at this time Check slatemt.com and our social media pages to stay up to date."

I guess the question remaining is will any touch screen monitor integrate seamlessly with Sonar?

    Cheers

By the looks of this video (about the 50 second point), the Dell Canvas will when it gets released.
