I was at dinner with 2 of my audio mentors when we saw the news. We all just marveled at his legacy.

... unless of course you are mistaking Ray Dolby for Reginald Dalby who was the illustrator of Thomas The Tank Engine.

Nope, I'm referring to the "blinded by science" guy.
 
Speaking of similar names, I actually know a Walt Disney (no direct relation that he knows of). He once took a rather larger check to the bank and had a heck of time cashing it. It was his and not that other "impostor".
