Re: Selection and Input echo problem , can you help please (Solved)

I've been struggling with this for a few days now and seemed to have backed myself into a corner that I can't see my way out.
Its hard to describe , so I am in the process of trying to video this.
I have a project , mainly midi but some audio.
When I select the session drummer folder , another folder is also selected (brass folder using TTS-1) so I can't select the drums folder ? Vic versa works both are highlighted
The reason I went to the drum folder was because hitting my Triton was putting a signal to the drum track (not armed for recording) I tried various methods to stop this with results I don't understand.
I change the midi track input to "None" this action turns on the echo input lights (one has an A in it) and changes the Input to Omni , I try to turn off the echo input and the Track input goes back to Triton Midi ?

I am only a hobbyist so this is not urgent but frustrating
Sonar is the latest version , but my session drum tracks are from an old template I have used many times before.
I'm sure it has to be me doing something stupid !!

Try turning off "Always Echo Current MIDI Track" in Preferences > MIDI > Playback and Recording

Thanks Scook , I also moved the offending midi source track out of the session drummer folder and then put it back later and this seems to have got around the multi selection problem.
Know it was something I was doing , although I don't remember changing that setting !
