    Probably all you did was unpin it from the task bar.
    Go to the start menu and in the search field type 'sonar' and right-click program version you have - for example Sonar X1 Studio (x64).
    Select 'Pin to Task bar' or 'Pin to start menu'.

    Hi, I got it. I went back to programs and opened the drop down list under Essential and right clicked X1 Sonar and saw that I could pin it. As usual-not going far enough.
