Re:Podx3live people i need help. Thanks everything is fixed!
I'm using podx3live and m-audio.when I record guitar through pod I get sound drop out, I like recording through pod because it sounds great. Not sure if their is a problem with the pod or if I'm just not routing the drives the correct way. I never get drop outs on m-audio but the sound sucks when running it through m-audio with pod.

The Line 6 drivers are crappy at best. You may need to change the buffer size for you L6 drivers. Use ASIO drivers. Also, L6 devices work better with a certain usb chipset. I can't remember which though. I know it's not nec or intel. I'd remember it if I saw it. Check the L6 forums. I used a podxt through my soundcard as well and it worked fine. I'm done with those things now. Back to good ole fashioned tube amps. Can't beat em.

check my settings. I use Line6X3Live, MAudio FTU. Also check to make sure your not Clipping/Levels in any of your chains-The Line6, MAudio or X1. I agree on the sound thing. Good Luck

I also go direct in Left and Right with XLR cables to the MAudio FTU and to add more also add a mic or 2 to the cabinet to give 3 or 4 more tones on the same take. Are you using a good quality cable, I recently had one that threw me just like what your explaining. I am assuming this problem just exists within the POD recording you describe?

It's the VIA chipset. Just remembered. For some reason L6 devices work best with usb that has a VIA chipset.

Sure Ill write it up for ya later and post it here. Had a long day in the yard. Just stopped into see whats going on. Yeh, very happy to hear ya got it running. Remember ASIO drivers-you can only run One sound card plugged in hence once you unplugged it, it took off for ya. Sorry to hear about the chip in the Line6. It is working through the MAudio direct in for ya though? PS Dont forget to Disable your LAN/WLAN card and antivirus when your working in X1. Thatll kill a possible dropout or other probs as well. Ill get back to ya ;)
