Re-Registration? Issues?

Hi Gang...

I know I've seen a few threads about this so I apologize if I'm duplicating such...

Last night I launched SPlat (thanks for the acronym Dave) from the Sonar icon and it somehow was back in Demo Mode?

Closed and re-opened using Control Center and after waiting for a number of minutes while it checked for updates, Sonar was again registered and running properly.

After this, closing Sonar I can re-open direct from the Sonar icon registered.

Is this now something that must be done via Control Center periodically? I'm guessing once/month? I know I'm not running often due to my electric situation, but I'm sure I opened it earlier this month??

I don't mind having to login to do this, but I don't always have Internet access... So I'm trying to establish a habit so that I can get this done and not be threatened with unregistered operation at a less than opportune moment.

Could someone either explain or link me to an explanation so that I can work something out? There's also supposed to be the offline registration method, but I believe that command disappears once a registration is completed. I couldn't find it when I looked...
