Ready for a hoedown, anyone? Produced with Sonar.

Time for a hoe-down? Here is a foot - stomping hoedown Country and Western track called " Blue Mountain" which I mixed and produced using SONAR Professional. Best wishes, Malcolm F Hill

Nice! I'd be tempted to bring the bass up in the mix a bit. Kind of some pretty jazz chord sequences for a hoedown, is it not? Kind of a Smooth Hoedown? Pretty nice!

I think the performances and parts all fit pretty darn well together. Nice playing! I was a little bugged by the spoons - ok, they are not spoons, nor is it a washboard, but that's the part it might be in another song -  it's a little too loud? And it's swinging a little too hard or harder than the other instruments, which are mostly on a straight four.

I'm not sure that makes any sense, but there you have it! Cool blend.

    cheers,
    -Tom

Very nice Malcolm - I am also a fan of smooth hoedown however I prefer a bit of ambient hoedown.
