Real VSTs in the Pro Channel FX bin seems like an improvement
I'm wondering; are they gonna be all squsihed up and tiny, maybe with some with fuzzy letters, or will we get to strecth out the inspector window so as to expand the view and see all the info clearly? best regards, mike

in the video it shows a generic faceplate.. similar in height/style to like the compressor.. its more of a placeholder and not an actual control interface... you need to pop out the vst UI when you want to tweak it

Thanks for explaining. I had not seen the videos yet. I wonder, does any one know if we'll be able to delete ALL the other place holder stuff we don't want to see in the inspector window FX bin? Or will some placeholders be there whether we have instantiated them or not? best regards, mike

My best guess is that you'll be able to delete all of it, based on the actions of X1 Expanded.

Or will some placeholders be there whether we have instantiated them or not? best regards, mike If we don't click on the ProChannel Tab, I believe none of them will be visible, and we can still use the FX Bin as normal. This is how it works in X1, and probably how it will work in X2. That way people who can see the numbers in Pro Channel can use it, and not have to search the tiny FX Bin and clutter up there monitors with gaudy GUIs. And people who do not wish to use it can ignore it an work their own way, oblivious to its existence, save a tiny tab in the inspector. That way we can all work our own, gloriously individual ways.

Don't forget you can also drag an Fx chain into the Pro Channel - opening any plug from within the chain will/should open up the full gui of the plug-in.

This is one of the features that really caught my attention and will probably force me to make more use of the Pro Channel. TBH, I have my own preferred third-party plugins that I usually use instead of the PC, but having the ability to insert and view my plugins directly in the Pro Channel is a huge improvement IMO.

I feel exactly the same way. This is going to make me try the PC modules more and I can slip my preferred (URS Channel Strip Pro) in between ;-)
